Fleet and Mobility Live

Reflex Vehicle Hire has supported a major online event to share best practice advice with fleet operators.

Virtual Fleet & Mobility Live provided a digital hub for networking and learning across three days in November.

In addition to online stands, there were 24 seminars looking at every aspect of fleet management, with guidance on strategic planning and day-to-day operations.

Reflex Vehicle Hire participated in a seminar on Running a Safe Fleet, with expert commentary from Shaun Atton, Group Fleet Manager of Auto Windscreens.

He provided a case study as a fleet safety pioneer on the steps he took to improve safety and reduce risk in their business.

Aaron Cawrey, Vehicle Purchasing Manager for Reflex Vehicle Hire, took part in the session, which was chaired by Debbie Floyde, Group Fleet Manager for Bauer Media.

During the session, fleets were briefed on the ongoing Reflex Vehicle Hire commitment to safety first vehicle provision, including our investment in the newest, safest vehicles and introduction of market-leading technology as part of our Driive with Reflex modular road safety service.

The conference was introduced by Baroness Vere, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Transport, who said:

“The fleet industry continues to be the beating heart of the UK economy, driving productivity and remaining at the leading edge of our decarbonisation and mobility agendas.”

She also praised the fleet industry for its critical role in the response to COVID-19, adding:

“Your efforts ensured that people could still access essential goods and services and that they could continue to work safely if they needed to, maintaining and supporting vital infrastructure.

I know that the fleet sector will continue to be at the leading edge of ensuring that we see the full benefits of technological and environmental advances.”
