Our award-winning fleet covers every business need and that includes specialist welfare units, which are fitted with washing facilities so that employees who are working remotely can wash their hands regularly, which is still one of the most important ways to combat the spread of the virus.

We are also supporting customers who are changing how they transport employees, as we supply an increasing number of minibuses that are designed to support socially-distanced travel.

Instead of minibuses carrying a full complement of passengers, the seating is reduced so that travellers can maintain the correct distance from each other.

Reflex Vehicle Hire can offer ‘clean machines’ in more ways than one as we have introduced hybrid power to our welfare van range.

Our hybrid welfare van is based on the robust Ford Transit 350 L3 H3 Leader, which has an ultra-clean 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine that uses the latest Euro 6 technology. The drivetrain is supported by a 48-volt mild hybrid system to optimise and enhance fuel efficiency.

The EcoBlue Hybrid welfare van is fitted with stop/start technology, so the engine can automatically shut down and restart while stationary or while coasting to a stop. The driver can adjust the coasting speed at which the automatic stop/start system operates up to 12mph.

As with all our products, the hybrid welfare van was developed following ongoing consultation with customers.
